When do you hire cybersecurity consulting?

Four situations we see often. In every one, the first step is the same: knowing where you stand.

  1. 01

You don't know how exposed your company is

You have endpoint protection, a firewall and backups, but no one has checked whether they're configured correctly or what was left out. The assessment gives you the full picture.

  2. 02

You have findings and no one is fixing them

A scan, an audit or a customer already told you what's wrong, and the list looks the same months later. The specialist ranks it by impact and works through it with your team.

  3. 03

You need to meet a standard or answer to a customer

ISO 27001, SOC 2 or PCI DSS. We tell you what's missing to comply, and for ISO 27001 we stay with you through certification.

  4. 04

Your IT team doesn't have a security specialist

Your people keep operations running, but security isn't their specialty, and they don't have time to make it one. A cybersecurity specialist joins your team, by the hour or by project.

What you get from a TecnetOne cybersecurity consultant

Assessment report

Where your company's security stands today within the agreed scope: what you have, what's missing and what's misconfigured.

Findings with evidence

Every vulnerability we find, where it is and proof that it exists, so no one has to take our word for it.

Prioritized risk matrix

Findings weighted by what they would cost your operation, ranked from highest to lowest impact.

Action plan with owners

What to fix, in what order and who does it: your team, the specialist or both.

Results session with leadership and IT

We explain the findings and the plan in the language of those who decide and those who execute, in the same session.

Specialist hours for implementation

If you choose, the specialist makes the fixes or works alongside your team on Active Directory, SQL Server, Microsoft Cloud and the rest of your infrastructure.

ISO 27001 support

A specialist guides you through the certification audit, with documentation templates and the auditor's folder ready.

Follow-up report

What's been resolved, what's still pending and how your risk level changed since the assessment.

What your business gains from security consulting

A specialist who stays to implement what they recommend.

You know what to fix first

The plan ranks every finding by how serious it is for your business, so your team works from a short list.

Your team isn't left alone with the report

If they're short on time or hands, the specialist makes the fix or supports the technical work until it's closed.

A cybersecurity specialist by your side

Someone whose job is security, added to a team whose job is keeping the company running.

You know what you get before you sign

We define the scope with you: which systems are reviewed and how many support hours are needed. The proposal comes from there.

Leadership understands the results

The results session explains what we found and what matters, in the language of those who decide.

A guided path to compliance

If your goal is ISO 27001, the specialist guides you to certification, so your team doesn't have to decode the standard alone.

How a cybersecurity assessment works

Five stages between the first meeting and the implemented fix.

We understand your company and your starting point

We sit down with your leadership and IT team to define the scope and walk through how your security works today: systems, access and team habits.

We review and weigh every finding

We run the technical review of the agreed scope and weigh every finding with your business in mind: what would happen if it failed and how likely it is.

We agree on what comes first

With your team, we decide the order of fixes and who takes each task, based on impact, effort and budget.

We fix it alongside your team

The specialist makes or supports the agreed fixes without slowing down day-to-day operations.

We verify it's resolved

We come back with your team to review what was closed, what's still pending and what comes after the plan. If your goal is a standard, we stay with you through the audit.

NEO answers common questions about cybersecurity consulting

Cybersecurity consulting is a service in which an outside specialist reviews the security of a company's infrastructure, systems and access, identifies its vulnerabilities, ranks them by business impact and supports the internal team as they fix them. At TecnetOne it starts with an assessment and ends with the plan implemented.

First, they review your situation: they scan the in-scope infrastructure and rank findings by how serious they are for your business. Then they present the plan to your leadership and your team. If you hire them to implement, they make the fixes or work alongside your team on Active Directory, SQL Server, Microsoft Cloud and the rest of your infrastructure.

We do the technical review and assessment an audit relies on, with a prioritized action plan, and we support you through the certification audit when your goal is ISO 27001. Certification is issued by an external auditor. If the auditor or a customer requires a penetration test, we coordinate it as a separate service.

The assessment report, findings with evidence, a risk matrix prioritized by business impact, an action plan with owners and order, and a results session with your leadership and team. If you hire implementation, you also get specialist hours on your infrastructure and a follow-up report on what was resolved.

It depends on the scope: which systems are reviewed and how many support hours are needed to implement. To quote, we need to know what you want reviewed (IPs, domains and applications) or the goal your team can't cover. With that, we define the scope with you before giving a price.

Yes, if you decide so. The plan says what to fix and in what order. Your team can carry it out with the report in hand, or the specialist implements it or works alongside your team. In the follow-up, we review together what was resolved.

Yes. Our TecnetSOC platform supports compliance: it manages your company's risks, control matrix and evidence, guides you step by step toward certification with documentation templates and opens a dedicated folder for the auditor to review. On top of it, a specialist supports you throughout ISO 27001 certification. For SOC 2 and PCI DSS, the platform organizes controls and evidence with its own templates.

They're different. Consulting assesses your security and supports remediation; a pentest is a controlled test in which specialists try to breach your defenses to show where an attacker would get in, and it's hired separately on its own page. And yes, we offer virtual CISO (vCISO) services: a senior TecnetOne specialist takes on the security leadership role part-time and sets the security roadmap with your leadership.

Start your cybersecurity consulting with a clear assessment.

Tell us what concerns you today, what a customer or standard requires, or what your team can't cover, and you'll get a proposal with the assessment scope and the support hours you need.

Scope first, then the proposal.
