Mobile Application Management (MAM)

Mobile application management (MAM) is the practice of securing corporate apps and the data inside them on a phone or tablet without managing the whole device. It lets IT require a PIN, block copying data into personal apps and wipe only company data. It is common when staff use personal phones under a BYOD (bring your own device) policy.
