RMM (remote monitoring and management)
Remote monitoring and management (RMM) is software that lets an internal IT team or a managed service provider (MSP) monitor and administer computers, servers and networks from a distance: checking device health, deploying patches and providing support without an on-site visit. For example, it can flag a nearly full disk at a branch office and fix it remotely.

HTTPS
HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) is the encrypted version of HTTP, the protocol a browser and a website use to exchange information. It relies on TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption so no one in between can read or alter data such as passwords or form entries. The browser padlock shows the connection is encrypted, not that the site is trustworthy.
VDI and Azure Virtual Desktop
VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) is a technology that runs Windows desktops on central servers and delivers them over the network, so staff can work from any device without storing data on it. Azure Virtual Desktop is Microsoft's cloud service for VDI, which removes the need to run and maintain on-premises servers.
LLM (large language model)
An LLM (large language model) is an artificial intelligence system trained on massive amounts of text to understand and generate language, such as the models behind ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot. Businesses use LLMs to draft, summarize or search documents, so it is important to define which data is shared with them and who can access their output.
Windows 365 (Cloud PC)
Windows 365 is a Microsoft service that streams a full Windows computer, called a Cloud PC, from the Microsoft cloud to any device through a web browser or the Windows App. It is licensed per user at a fixed monthly price based on the processor, memory and storage tier. For example, it gives remote or seasonal staff secure access without shipping laptops.
Email security
Email security is the set of controls that protect a company's inboxes against phishing, malware, impersonation and data loss. It combines filters that analyze links and attachments, domain authentication with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, encryption and training, because email is still one of the most common ways attacks get in.
