Ransomware recovery

Ransomware recovery is the process of containing the incident, removing the attacker's access and restoring systems and data to a clean, verified state. It usually includes isolating devices, investigating how the attacker got in, restoring from immutable or isolated backups and confirming no malware remains; paying the ransom does not guarantee the data will be recovered.
