TecnetSOC in August 2026: Neo acts on what you ask, quarantined email you control, patching by device and one IT inventory for audits.

TecnetSOC Updates: August 2026

Ask Neo to check a device, close the portal and get on with your day: when it finishes, the answer will be waiting in the chat. That's TecnetSOC after August.

If June gave you control and July gave you proof, August gives you a helping hand: now you ask the portal for things and it does them. Everything here is already live in your account.

Neo doesn't just answer anymore: it takes the action you ask for

Neo, the TecnetSOC assistant, waving

Until now, Neo explained what you saw on screen. In August, it learned to act.

  • Ask it to investigate something that worries you. Tell it what concerns you and on which device, and Neo takes the case: it keeps you posted and explains how it ended. If the case turns out to be an incident, it's logged as one. You can also ask from any device's page with "Investigate this device."

Neo investigating a device in the TecnetSOC portal

  • Before opening a case, it gives you context. When you request an investigation, the portal shows whether that device already has an open incident or a recent investigation, so you don't duplicate work.
  • It checks a device and replies when it's done. Ask it which updates a device is missing: you approve with one click and the result arrives in the same chat when it's ready, even if you've closed the portal. Conversations are saved.
  • It knows your account. Ask which plan you have or which devices are backed up, and it answers with your data.

Your administrator authorizes every action, always with a confirmation before it runs.

Email security: you decide what happens to a quarantined email

When an email doesn't arrive, there are two questions: why was it stopped, and what do I do with it? Now both answers are in your portal.

  • See why it was stopped. When you open a quarantined email, you see what gave it away and whether the sender was authenticated. From there, your administrator releases it, downloads the original or reports it as legitimate. If the file is malicious, the portal warns you before delivering it.
  • Act on what did get through. You can report an email as dangerous, remove it from the mailboxes it reached or ask for it to be scanned again. And you manage your own allowed and blocked sender lists.
  • Find any email. The history filters by text, dates, verdict and type of action.

All of this is already live for customers with the email security module.

Patching: the truth about every update, device by device

Patch detail by device in the TecnetSOC portal

A device is up to date when the update is installed, not when someone tried to install it. August was about making that difference visible.

  • Pending and incomplete updates, shown separately. Patching now also counts updates that were attempted and didn't complete, row by row. Your count may go up: there aren't more failures, you can just see them now, with the exact row to fix them.
  • Every update opens with its breakdown. Open any row and see, device by device, where it's installed, where it's still pending and where it didn't complete, with the history of every attempt.

One inventory: devices, peripherals and services

Adding assets to the TecnetSOC inventory

Your IT inventory is no longer just computers. When an audit comes, everything you operate and its evidence are on the same screen.

  • Register everything your business runs on. Monitors, keyboards and phones, plus the cloud services you subscribe to, each with its owner, its classification and the standards that apply. You can upload them from a file.
  • Evidence by standard, ready for your audit. Your administrator uploads and downloads the evidence for each standard directly from the inventory.
  • The inventory adapts to you. Each person chooses which columns they see and the choice is saved; location and owning department come from your own catalog, and the portal's global search now finds devices by name.

Attack Surface now checks your domain too

Domain finding in the TecnetSOC attack surface module

Your domain is your company's public front door, and now it's watched like one.

  • Know whether someone can impersonate you. The module checks whether your domain can be spoofed, whether your email travels over an encrypted channel and who can issue certificates in your name.
  • Every finding comes with its plan. What was found, why it matters and the steps to fix it.

These checks appear alongside your other findings, for customers with the attack surface module.

More updates already in your portal

  • Device protection. The Policies tab shows what each policy protects on your devices, in plain language: what's blocked, what's allowed and the history of every change, with the option to roll it back. It also flags saved settings that aren't being applied today and tells you which option they depend on, because configured and applied aren't the same thing. This tab is enabled in your portal once your device protection is ready; if you don't see it yet, request it from the updates section.

  • Coverage from day one. If a device was registered but its protection never finished installing, the portal flags it and explains what stopped it; your administrator requests a retry with one button and the same screen shows how it ended.

  • Investigations. The list now opens on what needs your attention. Anything dismissed as a false positive is still counted on its card, one click away: what you see first changes, what was reviewed doesn't.

  • Backups. The history now includes restores too, with their result and date; restoring to the original location asks for confirmation before writing; each plan's schedule is shown in the device's local time; and plans are grouped by what they back up: the whole device, files, databases or virtualization.

What August brings you

Your portal is no longer just a window: it's someone you can ask for things. Neo investigates, checks and gets back to you; you release emails, retry installations and decide, with a record of who did what.

That's where TecnetSOC is headed: running your security should be as simple as asking, with our team behind you when the severity calls for it.

In your portal, the updates section has the full history and marks what's already included in your service.

Future updates are also built on what you tell us. If there is something you want to see in TecnetSOC, write to us at hola@tecnetone.com
