When does your business need a disaster recovery plan?
-
01
Your ERP and billing can't stop
If your day is measured in orders and invoices, your recovery should be measured in minutes.
-
02
No ransom to pay
Your environment goes back to a point before the attack and operations continue. Negotiating with attackers is off the table.
-
03
Your audit or cyber insurance requires a tested DR plan
Frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and cyber insurance policies, ask for a plan with documented tests. The two annual tests are your evidence.
-
04
Your whole operation lives in one place
If that location goes down, your business stops. With TecnetProtect DR you have a second site in the cloud, ready to go, with nothing to build or buy.
How TecnetProtect DR works: replication, failover and recovery testing
Agent-based disaster recovery for your operation
An agent installed in your infrastructure replicates every change to the cloud in near real time, around the clock. By the time something happens, your data is already somewhere else.
We confirm the failure with you
A hardware failure, an attack or a human error doesn't trigger anything on its own. We declare the event together with your team before starting recovery.
Your environment comes up in the cloud
Within minutes, we bring up an identical environment in the cloud. Your team keeps working there while we fix your original site.
You return to your site, fully up to date
When your infrastructure is ready again, we move the updated data back and shut down the cloud environment.
Backup or disaster recovery? Managed backup and disaster recovery, together
You don't have to choose: they work together.

Disaster recovery is the ability to restore a company's systems and operations after a serious failure, such as damaged hardware, ransomware or human error. As a service (DRaaS), servers are continuously replicated to the cloud, and the entire environment can be brought up there in minutes.
Backup keeps copies of your information. Disaster recovery keeps your systems running while you recover it. Restoring from a backup can take hours or days; with disaster recovery, an identical environment comes up in minutes. The two complement each other.
It includes 24/7 continuous replication of every protected server, two recovery tests a year of 4 hours each, point-in-time recovery for the last 7 days, and monitoring, runbooks and support from TecnetOne. You choose the failover region, the United States included. Cloud usage is billed by the hour only when you activate a failover or an extra test.
Your service includes two recovery tests a year, of up to 4 hours each, without affecting production: we bring up the cloud environment, check that systems respond and measure the times against the runbook. Extra tests are quoted separately.
It's the ability to bring up your environment at a specific moment in time, in addition to its most recent state. TecnetProtect DR keeps the last 7 days of your replica, so you can go back to a moment before encryption, data corruption or human error.
Yes. If your servers are encrypted, point-in-time recovery lets you bring up your environment at a point before the attack and keep running from the cloud while the original site is cleaned. For complete protection, pair it with immutable backups from TecnetProtect Backup, copies no one can alter.
RTO (recovery time objective) is how long your operation can be down, and RPO (recovery point objective) is how much recent data you can afford to lose. With TecnetProtect DR, recovery takes minutes and replication runs in near real time. The exact time depends on the number and size of your servers, and it's defined in your service runbook. You confirm it in the recovery tests included every year.
TecnetProtect Backup keeps immutable copies of your servers, devices and email (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), protected against ransomware. TecnetProtect DR replicates your entire servers and brings up an identical environment in the cloud within minutes if something fails. Backup protects your information, and DR keeps your operation running. Ideally, you have both.
A plan for businesses that can't afford to stop
A server going down can be a crisis, or proof that you're ready for whatever happens.
